Exploring The Natural Treatments I Use In My Practice
These healing modalities offer different approaches to treating chronic health problems. Sometimes we need to work on a physical level, other times we need to look at our emotional and mental wellbeing. Many times we need a mix of therapies because the mind-body connection is real and powerful. Below are the Natural Treatments I Use

Balance : Mind and Body
(FSM) Frequency Specific Microcurrent
Frequency Specific Microcurrent uses very low-levels of electrical current – one millionth of an ampere – to encourage natural healing. Most people don’t feel anything at all and often fall asleep in a treatment. Typically, FSM reduces pain and inflammation and is therefore extremely effective for Musculo-Skeletal problems. Each treatment and the frequencies used, are chosen to target the tissues you want help with. Research has shown that there are frequencies for nearly every type of tissue in your body. I trained with Dr Carol McMakin, the founder of FSM. Learn More About Specific Frequency Specific Microcurrent
(EMDR) Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing
EMDR helps people process difficult memories, including old traumatic stress as well as current feelings of anger, shock and grief. Endorsed by Dr. Bessel Van Der Kolk (The Body Keeps The Score), EMDR really does bridge the mind-body connection. Specific eye movements that access the left and right brain are combined with emotional thoughts and images together with sensory input from the body. This combination has been found to help integrate the past with the present, such that there is no longer ‘a charge’ from painful memories and people are able to put the past behind them. ‘It happened and it’s over’. It is powerful and profound work. Learn More About EMDR
Clinical Kinesiology
Dr. Alan G. Beardall, DC, developed Clinical Kinesiology (CK). I prefer this form of muscle testing for its non-invasive and highly effective approach. It assesses and improves health by evaluating the body’s response to various stimuli through muscle testing. This technique involves gently applying pressure to specific muscles to detect changes in strength or weakness, which can reveal imbalances or disruptions in the body’s systems. ImageWork
Image Work is the pioneering therapy developed by Dr Dina Glouberman, psychotherapist, writer, international trainer, and world expert in imagery based therapies. Dr Glouberman developed ImageWork in response to her own painful stories from the past. She discovered that real transformation and change can come from deep exploration of imagery and visualisation, combined with the power of intuition. I trained with and am certified by Dr Glouberman. Homeopathy
The remedies I use are Complex homeopathic remedies to treat inflammation, pain, toxicity, hormonal imbalances, recovery from burnout, and more. These remedies are very different from Constitutional remedies as they focus on symptoms rather than your constitutional type. Learn More About Homeopathy and Homotoxicology.
Cranio-Sacral Therapy
Cranio-Sacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on technique that identifies and releases restrictions in the body. It can help to reduce stress and improve mobility. Most people find the treatment deeply relaxing. I trained at the Milne Institute with Hugh Milne. Learn More About Cranio-Sacral Therapy
Nutritional Therapy
I use Nutritional Therapy in treatments to support detoxification or implement necessary dietary changes. The foods we eat influence every aspect of our biochemistry and therefore our energy, our hormones, our weight, our levels of pain and inflammation and even how long we live. Laboratory Testing
I sometimes recommend laboratory testing to identify underlying health issues by analysing blood, saliva, or stool samples. Lab tests can provide insights into your hormonal, nutritional, and immune status so they are very useful in identifying a priority health issue. Laboratory Testing and what it can do for YOU
Summary
Each of these different Natural Treatments I Use reflect my belief that each person requires their own personalised programme. It’s the reason I do so many different therapies because I realised, many years ago, there is no ‘one size fits all’.
